Hi,
My name is Ali, I am 20 years old and I am a sophomore
student in KFUPM (King Fahad University of Petroleum
and Menials in the) majoring in computer engineering.
My story with this beauty started with an Audi A6!! I
was in the market for a new car and I was looking
around until I passed by our local VW/Audi/Porsche
dealer. The sales man in the Audi section offered me a
test drive for the A6 with the 2.4 engine, I drove the
car and I was amazed by every thing in it! I liked it
a lot but the price-options pakage wasn't that good
for me. So, I saw this color (Futura Yellow) on the
PASSAT and I fell in love with the car completely.
After a month I was driving my new 2000 2.8V6 Passat!
Yahoo!!.
My Passat has the following OEM options:
-HID headlights with washers
-GSM cell phone connected to the HU and CD-changer
-Black Leather/Alcentra seats
-Memory seat
-3 spokes sport steering wheel
-Blue tinted & folding side mirrors
-Plus the usual options that the GLX trim have in the
US market
Modifying the car started just after 3 months of
driving this baby. I started with the Oettinger
spoiler/grill/rear valance and Eibach prokit sport
springs. After a year I got the Oettinger 17x8"
RE wheels with TOYO T1S 225/45/17. Other modifications
are the exhaust tips, a sub added to the OEM HU,
LED-integrated rear lamps, NB side markers, Audi OEM
fog lights, debadged and painted VW emblems balck/red,
and a NB glasses-holder. Future Modifications: Well,
due to the hard financial situation that I have now
(:P) there are no near plans but painting the calipers
will be soon I guess. Also I am really interested in
having a Zender rear spoiler and a chip if possible.
May be a new HU next year? Whoknows..I will keep you
guys informed as you keep me full with very-useful
information that I wouldn't even think about if I
didn't know clubb5.com...Keep it up guys!
